Located in a prime, riverside spot, Bert’s Pizzeria brings real wood-fired pizza and authentic Italian gelato to Hull’s Fruit Market. Seating up to 80 people indoors and a further 32 alfresco spaces, Bert’s has created a relaxed, family-friendly dining experience.
Named after owner Ellie Mewburn’s grandfather, Bert Mewburm, the restaurant uses a mix of Italian sourced ingredients as well as locally supplied produce. This includes wagyu beef from the family’s own farm.
The fresh, high-quality produce goes into making the simple yet delicious menu of pizzas, salads, sides, gelato. When it comes to the gelato, which is freshly prepared on the premises each day, there is an ever-changing choice of flavours.
