1UPSTARTS Theatre Company invites you to join us for our launch of our brand new FREE Horror-Themed audio walk, Curioptica!
‘Dragged into a hidden world that they never knew existed, ‘Curioptica’ will give audiences a glimpse into the otherworldly underbelly of Hull where danger lurks around every corner. This show will have you scouring Hull for clues whilst assisting a crack team of operatives from the secretive Curioptica, an ancient cabal that’s existed in the shadows for centuries, saving people from a terrible fate. Learn about their histories and the horrifying monsters and events they’ve had to face that pulled them into this world in the first place, and help save Hull from a terrible cult, The Sanguine Symphony!’
Powered through the Echoes app, all you’ll need is a Smartphone and a pair of headphones or earbuds to take part.
Walk time is approx 2 – 3 hours, so lots of content to get your teeth into, and you’re always free to stop off along the way for breaks and food!
No need to reserve a space, just turn up!
We’ll be at the Welcome Information Centre in Paragon Interchange from 10am – 4pm to help you set up the app, and send you off out into the city! Don’t worry if you can’t make the launch though, the walk will be live until December 1st and you can pick up a map from the Welcome Information Centre Mon – Sat 10am – 4pm afterwards! All for FREE!
