This half term, join us at Hull Minster for a day of hands-on activities for your young ones, as Historic Workshops bring their Anglo-Saxon contingent to Hull’s most historic building.
Take in any one of our workshops, or try your hand at all 3!
– Learn how the Anglo-Saxons fought, and stand in a shield wall during our Battle Formations crash-course
– Uncover relics of centuries past in our hands-on archaeological digs
– Partake in the Witan: the King’s Council in England for over 400 years
Entry is FREE, so make your half term worth remembering at Hull Minster!
Each workshop is 30 minutes long with 10 minute breaks in between, maxed out at 32 children per session.
