The University of Hull and the Royal Navy are looking forward to welcoming you to the next practitioner’s conference on Wednesday 4 March 2026.
The Humber, Britain’s Energy Estuary, is a globally recognised centre for energy, industry and transport. As the region builds upon it’s industrial heritage and transitions towards future energy economy, the Humber will be critical to the success of Britain’s energy, industry and defence strategies.
Inevitably, the vitality and importance of the Humber and its offshore network will attract threats from Britain’s adversaries. Accordingly, the security and resilience of the Humber’s energy and transport network is of critical importance.
This conference is designed to engage with stakeholders from across the region who are involved in politics, industry and security to generate engagement and discussion of the Humber’s future.
Tea and coffee will be served on arrival, with lunch and networking to follow.
