Cut price, early bird tickets will go on sale online for the region’s biggest music festival, Humber Street Sesh, which will take place on Hull Marina next year on Saturday, August 3rd.
Priced at £15 each (+ booking fee), early bird discounted tickets for Humber Street Sesh 2024 will be available from seetickets.com from 10.00 am on Friday, December 8th until February 14th.
Dave Mays, Festival Director, said, “We’ve kept ticket prices the same for the last five years but in response to price hikes across the board, we’ve had to increase the ticket price this year in order to sustain the festival. The early bird opportunity makes the event as accessible as possible.”
Award-winning festival, Humber Street Sesh celebrated 10 years on Hull Marina this August, showcasing over 100 acts and providing a platform for regional emerging artists and musicians, as well as critically acclaimed breaking bands from further afield.
Moving into the festival’s next decade, Sesh Events Ltd, the company behind Humber Street Sesh are planning to expand the artistic programme and introduce some exciting new elements to the festival in 2024.
Mark Page, Festival Director said, “Having reached our 10th anniversary of Humber Street Sesh in 2023, exciting plans are now afoot to expand our festival site on Hull Marina, with small inroads into the city centre, to enhance the festival experience. We believe Hull deserves a music festival of some distinction, and by spreading our festival footprint year on year, we’re confident that we can deliver an event that encompasses the rich talent pool that the region possesses and attracts even more people to our great city’
With community at its heart, Humber Street Sesh 2024 will continue to offer family fun, with the much-loved Silent Disco and Team Extreme Skate Park, alongside family favourites – the Hip Hop Amphitheatre with Beats Bus, and the ScrapStore Creative Arts Marquee. Photography and art exhibitions will be located across the festival site and organisers are planning to bring back the festival markets.
As members of the Oh Yes! Net Zero Campaign, Sesh Events Ltd are committed to improving their green credentials and will continue to build on their impressive environmental achievements this year. Most notably, supported by the University of Hull and JR Rix & Sons Ltd, festival organisers reduced carbon emissions by 90%, by transitioning from diesel to hydrotreated vegetable oil to power the event. Festival organisers will be working with partners and sponsors to move towards being an even more sustainable festival in 2024.
