A Summer Art Workshop with Award Winning Artist Gail Hurst

Immerse yourself into watercolour and ink to feel the lightness of summer. The workshop begins with a brief tutorial on everything watercolour!

With the landscape, flora and fauna of the Burton Constable Hall at your fingertips for inspiration, a session of sketching will follow; weather permitting, this will take place in the grounds. Gail will be offering plenty of demonstrations to encourage you all the way to be as experimental as you can be. After a break for lunch, time will be spent transforming your compositions into colour! A focus on watercolours and inks with more demonstrations at hand for you to fully embrace this exciting medium in a relaxed way.

The Stables Kitchen will be open if you wish to purchase your lunch, alternatively you can bring a packed lunch with you.
