FRIDAY 1 NOVEMBER
Exhibition – Faces of Me
The Peel Project and Artlink.
This inspiring and beautiful exhibition explores identity and self-expression through art. Artists: Rahima Ahmed, Shinteea Chowdhury, Jill Howitt and Lauren Saunders.
Creative Voice Connections Flourish Creative Space
Hull Dance and MakerspaceHull
Creative Voice Connections is a youth arts networking workshop for everyone who wants to engage in its strategic development. Current conversation involves the development of a creative space supporting positive health and wellbeing. MakerspaceHull and Hull Dance will be responding at the Festival by piloting a space including the chance to move, make and patch.
12.30-3.30pm
Fun, drop-in workshops including drama, henna hand painting, screen printing, scriptwriting, circus skills, photography and more.
4pm onwards
DIY Murder Mystery with Hull Truck Theatre
Do you ever shout at the TV whilst watch Death In Paradise? Do you think that if you were in charge the town of Midsomer would have a much smaller murder rate?
Work with the team at Hull Truck Theatre to create an original murder mystery story from scratch. You’ll make the clues. You’ll be the suspects and you’ll decide whodunnit.
Young People’s Performance Sharing with a focus on drama. Performers include Andrew Marvell Youth Centre, Freedom Road Creative Arts and Wolfpack Theatre.
SATURDAY 2 NOVEMBER

Fun, drop-in workshops including music, pottery wheel, henna hand painting, screen printing, DJ Mixing, photography, music studio and more.
4-5.30pm
Out of the Box Music Workshop with Claire Holdich
After creating melodies during the drop in workshop have a go at writing a song from scratch!
6-9pm
Young People’s Performance Sharing with a focus on music. Performers include 413, Freedom Road Collective, DJs from DJ Methodz Turn the Tables project, The Sovereigns acoustic set and Hull Youth Music Network. Also hear tracks recorded at Hull Youth Music Network Studio based at Kingston Youth Centre.
