This is a relaxed (SEND) family activity session with limited numbers designed for children who have a disability, are neurodivergent, or experience anxiety.
Come and create an animated creature as part of the Microworlds exhibition. You can spot a creature in the exhibition or dream one up yourself. Then use paper, scissors, glue and imagination to bring it to life. Before animating it in stop motion as part of a creature parade. Award winning animators My Pockets will be there to help you along the way.
Best suited for children aged 7+ Please only book a ticket for each child taking part in the workshop. Accompanying adults do not need to book a ticket. We have subsidised the charge for this workshop.

The Ferens has a magnificent collection of paintings and sculptures, including works by European Old Masters, portraiture, marine painting, and modern and contemporary British art.
