Dinostar in Hull’s Fruit Market is celebrating its 21st Anniversary – on the exact day that the museum opened for the first time in 2004. A celebration event will take place outside the museum on Humber Street on Friday 11th April from 12noon and 4pm. There will be a range of activities including a Fossil Dig, Finds Identification and a chance to meet baby dinosaurs.
Confirmed activities include:
🦖 Appearances by “real” baby dinosaurs. Meet and have your photo taken with a Baby Dinosaur! There will be three 20-minute appearances during the event.
🌋 Finds Identification, hosted by Hull Geological Society. Have your fossils and rocks identified. No valuations.
📜 Fossil Dig, hosted by Dinostar. Search for genuine fossils, identify and record your finds, and take them home!

Based on the corner of Humber Street and Queen Street, in Hull’s Fruit Market, Dinostar is Hull’s Dinosaur Experience. With dinosaurs holding a fascination for visitors of all ages, Dinostar is a great place to visit if you’re looking to take a step back in time to the age of the dinosaurs. The fascinating Tyrannosaurus rex skull, magnificent Triceratops bones you can touch and an interactive sandbox where you can build a volcano all make for an unforgettable adventure.
