Join novelist, broadcaster, and critic Bonnie Greer, and Lauren Livesey of the Brontë Society, for an event marking the two hundredth anniversary of the birth of Emily Brontë.
Author of a handful of astonishing poems and a single ground-breaking novel, Emily Brontë is one of the most inspiring and enigmatic authors of the nineteenth century. Bonnie and Lauren will discuss the continuing impact and relevance of Wuthering Heights and the myriad ways in which the bicentennial anniversary has been marked by the Brontë Society and Brontë Parsonage Museum, in conjunction with creative partners including Lily Cole, Patience Agbabi, and The Unthanks.
