The Garnet Rees Memorial Lecture

The lecture is an annual event, delivered by an eminent scholar in the field of Modern Languages, to honour the memory of Professor Garnet Rees, Professor of French Poetry at the University until 1979. This year, the lecture will be given by Professor Loredana Polezzi, Professor of Translation Studies at the University of Cardiff.

The talk will appeal to a broad audience, covering as it does a spectrum of interests from translation studies and Italian culture, to questions of gender and migration.
