Dark alt-pop singer-songwriter Gia Ford is live at Hull’s Adelphi Club as part of Independent Venue Week.
Her spectacular debut album, “Transparent Things”, which was released in 2024, is a collection of songs that demonstrate Ford’s signature Sheffield swagger, burnished with nods to alt-pop and psychedelic sleaze. It received huge critical success, with Clash Magazine calling her a “striking indie it-girl to watch”.
