Magician and comedy performer Greg Chapman presents a show based around one of his favourite subjects – DINOSAURS!
It is a subject which many enjoy, and Greg takes a look at it from various angles and in ways that nobody would expect!
Who would win if a T. Rex fought a Triceratops?
Is Greg better at magic than a dinosaur?
Will Greg succeed in his goal of having a real dinosaur onstage?
‘Magic of the Dinosaurs’ is an entertaining performance for adults and families to enjoy, including comedy, magic, mentalism, storytelling, puppetry, and more, all coming together into a fun and exciting evening during which you may actually learn something as well!
Greg started as a child with a ‘Paul Daniel’s Magic Kit’, and discovered a real passion for magic in his early twenties while working as a comedy performer. He studied Physical Theatre at the Performing Arts University of Torino, read a mountain of magic books, and has now been touring shows for all ages in the UK and in Italy for nearly two decades.
In gaps between performances, for a few year he also helped to run Fossil Hunting Trips and talks near his home on the Isle of Wight, where he deepened his fascination with dinosaurs and built up his own modest collection of dinosaur finds. In 2021, Greg and his wife, Felicity, created a documentary about the origins of palaeontology, ‘Seeking The First Dinosaur Hunters’, and when they had released the film Greg decided it was finally time to combine two of the subjects he is most interested in into one fast-paced and exciting show.
