Learn more about how professional actors hone their craft in this six-week long course, designed specifically for adults (18+). Led by actor Peter McMillian.

Whether you’re interested in performing on the stage or screen, or just want to raise your confidence, this course will be a practical exploration of acting including theatre exercises, voice, characterisation and scene study.

Peter McMillian is based in Hull and has been an actor for nearly 20 years, working locally and all over the UK for major theatre and TV companies and has also toured theatrically worldwide.

He trained at the Oxford School of Drama and his first professional role was in Bouncers by John Godber with Hull Truck Theatre Company. He has been a facilitator, director and acting teacher at both professional and amateur levels and is delighted to lead the Introduction to Acting Course.

The cost of each course is £90. We are committed to the idea that finances shouldn’t be a barrier to participation, please get in touch if you would like to discuss reduced prices or bursary places. Please contact engagment@hulltruck.co.uk to discuss.

IMPORTANT – you will receive an email, the day after booking, which includes a link to an emergency information and contact form. Please check your junk and spam.
