Come and relax in the unique and historic setting of the Monks Walk Inn in an informal atmosphere with acoustic music from some of the festival guests.

The evening features Pete Bolton and Brian Swinton who were both part of the old-timey band The Whiskey Dogs. Now working as a duo, they perform a set of earthy, early Americana on fiddle, banjo, mandolin and guitar.

Joining them in the concert are Sam Martyn and Wolfy O’Hare, a duo who perform traditional and original folk music from a wide range of traditions and sources – blending some of the styles and instruments associated with early music together with contemporary elements.  Sam is an established folk singer and instrumentalist and Wolfy has been involved with the early music movement since leaving university in the 1970s.

From South of the Humber come Liam Robinson, Carol Dawson and Steve Le Voguer. Members of the trio have played in The Workshy Profits and Folklincs whilst Steve also performs with gypsy jazz guitarist Lewis Kilvington. They perform traditional tunes with an English and Celtic bias on fiddle, concertina, guitar and vocals.
