➳ 7:30PM DOORS // 14+
The Fire Doors faithfully bring to life the music of Jim Morrison, Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek and John Densmore; a celebration of The Doors’ six classic albums, from the brooding psychedelia of the self-titled debut to the bluesy howl of L.A. Woman.
The Fire Doors embrace every aspect of this uniquely fascinating band – poetry, mysticism, flamenco and jazz all wrapped up as hard-hitting rock, but with the pop smarts that led to chart-topping singles such as Light My Fire, Hello, I Love You and Touch Me.
The Fire Doors sees four mainstays of the North East’s music scene (Peter Brewis, David Brewis and Andrew Moore of Field Music and David Hyde from The Futureheads) coming together to share their first musical love.
After selling out their debut show in a single day, their mission now is to help keep the music of The Doors alive. If you love the music of The Doors, then let the Fire Doors transport you back to the Sunset Strip in ‘67 for a night of musical abandon honouring LA’s greatest band.
