A Musical Love Story from The New Adelphi Club
There is a street
Off an avenue
Off a road
In a funny little city called Hull
For 40 years, The New Adelphi Club has been home to some of the most exciting and original up-and-coming music artists from around the world.
In 1984, a chance encounter brings together Sammy, a local lad, and Meera, a trainee nurse. They hit it off instantly and quickly fall in love. Follow their story — and the story of the club — across four decades, through the epic highs and crushing lows that life throws their way.
Brilliant bands, hilarious tales, and a whole lot of heart.
There’s a lot of living that’s happened here in 89 De Grey Street.
