Toad’s unfortunate antics have once again landed him in jail, and the timing couldn’t be worse! The arrival of a desperate letter from his ailing uncle urges Toad’s imminent departure for East Yorkshire where the ancestral family home, Toad Manor, is under threat from the evil Weasels.

Toad and his faithful friends hatch his escape plan and head towards the chilly north as winter bites. The intrepid travellers arrive in the East Riding in the middle of the festive season only to encounter Wesley Weasel, his despicable cronies, and their cunning plan to take over the family estate by midnight on the 31st December.

As the clock ticks so begins a race against time, and the scene is set for adventure!

A family show packed full of surprises including a road trip to the Yorkshire Wolds, a treasure hunt, booby traps, and an epic battle to beat the Weasels before the New Year’s Eve fireworks go off!

Inspired by Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willows, this family Christmas production, written by Gordon Meredith and directed by Richard Avery, will delight East Riding Theatre’s audiences throughout December and launch us into the New Year with a bang! Poop Poop!

Ages 8 – 108!!!
