Since relaunching the band to the live circuit in 2021 with their new “Gary Numan”; frontman Chris Fielding, Tubeway Days – The Gary Numan Live Experience 1979/80 have been thrilling fans with their stunning replication of the Gary Numan early era classic songs.

With committing to so much attention to detail with the images, stage show and the incredible accuracy to the original sounds of all the songs the band are constantly receiving positive appraisal from fans, media and venues alike.

Recreating the shows of the original 1979 and ’80 tours is giving fans the opportunity to relive what was the pinnacle of Numan’s career as he dominated the UK music scene and saw hits and sold out tours around the world. For those who didn’t get the chance to see these iconic shows then Tubeway Days are giving everyone the chance to experience exactly what they were like.

2024 takes the shows to another level with the addition of a full scale replication of the 1979 Touring Principle stage show, the two lighting towers have been built, Huey & Dewey our robotic pyramids are ready to delight the audiences and the band have added new songs to the set which includes a few unexpected surprises too.
These additional songs will sit neatly alongside the hits such as “Cars”, “Are ‘Friends’ Electric?, “Complex”, “We Are Glass”, “I Die:You Die” and all the fan favourite album tracks. All as performed by Numan and his original band back on those legendary tours of 1979 and ’80.

This is a show not to be missed by any fan of Gary Numan and those pioneering bands when the sounds of synthpop and the new electronic music ruled the charts and airwaves.
