Hull Libraries are celebrating the history of Britain’s Black ballet dancers with a day of workshops and storytimes.

 

Ballet Family Workshop: (45 mins)

12:00 – 12:45pm / 3:30 – 4:15pm

Hull Central Library

Age: 3 – 5yrs

 

Led by one of the dancers from Oxygen Arts, this workshop is a fun and accessible introduction to ballet for very young children and their families/carers.

You can also visit the Into the Light exhibition exploring the history of black dancers in British ballet and grab some refreshments in the Central Library Café.

 

Oxygen Arts CIC is a social enterprise that specialises in targeting and working with diverse communities. They have extensive experience engaging diverse audiences in a range of different activities and services, and in working with communities to explore and share their stories.

 

Please note: Due to safety and limited space please do not bring siblings to the event unless they have a pre-booked place and meet the age requirements.
