KINGSTONIAS
The coolest band in the world. Kingstonias, consisting of Charlie Smethurst and Louie Bywood is a prominent returning act and cover band known for their intense aesthetic and electric energy on the stage.
LEWIS PAUL MARROW
Singer/Songwriter and Post Modern show off from Kingston upon Hull. The former frontman of the band Republic Of Trees. Lewis is a rough-hewn, heavy set, muso with a talent for writing exposing heartfelt lyrics and gut-churning one-liners.
SUNCRASH
an indie rock band comprised of Leo Prest, Reece McDougall, Ash Edwards and Ruby Lawler. Known for Talking Tonight (and their debut album SOLAR releasing in 2026), the band returns to TRRS featuring all new songs from SOLAR exclusive to the evening.
BLITZER (FOR SHORT)
Consisting of George Firth, Joe Gowans, Ashley Hood and Harry Hopper, Blitzer (for short) are a mixed presence that play a variety of genres, but with a focus on grunge-shoegaze style music, making their debut at TRRS this October.

After facing a devastating closure during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic under the ownership of a national company, the previous management of the Polar Bear worked to resurrect the venue as swiftly as possible. With an overwhelming outpour of support from the resilient community of Hull, ‘Polar Bear Music Club’ made a triumphant return in 2021, this time as a Community Interest Company (CIC). In collaboration with their friends from ‘The Sesh,’ Polar Bear is dedicated to offering free entry nights every Tuesday, featuring a diverse line-up of local, national, and international musicians. Additionally, the venue hosts weekly free entry club nights, along with ticketed gigs and live performances, catering to a wide range of musical tastes and preferences for the people of Hull.
