Opened in summer 2018, Connexin Live is a new £36m quality state-of-the-art music, sporting and conference complex; ideal for large conferences, exhibitions and trade shows as well as major touring concerts and sporting events. The Bonus Arena has a 3,500 capacity concert auditorium with the flexibility to reduce to a 2,900 all-seated event or offer 1,320sqm of exhibition space alongside an 800 capacity conference auditorium. "The music centre is built on three floors, has two large rehearsal spaces and five smaller rehearsal rooms. There is a stage in the main room with PA and stage lighting. The main hall serves as a performance venue that is large enough to accommodate a full-size symphony orchestra. It has retractable raked seating (electronically operated) holding 192 people and a further 110 audience chairs are available when the stage alone is being used for a performance.
