In this creative and atmospheric setting Hull Truck Theatre can offer corporate events with a difference. The theatre started from humble beginnings in 1971, operating as a touring company from the back of a truck, but is now housed in a £15m building in the heart of Hull city centre. The premises boast a 440-seat main auditorium, 134-seat studio theatre, flexible breakout areas and an innovative, versatile interactive space along with two café-bars. The theatre, which is just a short walk from the Hull Station, is popular for an array of conferences, meetings and events, with its state-of-the-art facilities. Catering is provide by innovative street food providers or a full range of corporate hospitality theatre packages are also available.

The Heron (Main Theatre)

Capacity: 429 (incl. 4 wheelchair spaces) Seating style: Theatre Accessibility: Infrared hearing system to enhance sound for those who are hearing impaired. Four wheelchair spaces, accessible via the ground floor. Seating towards the back of the theatre is accessible via a lift in the foyer. N.B. Stage may be flat or raised depending on the events/shows taking place prior to and after your event. Additional staffing charges will be incurred to install or remove a stage.

Studio Theatre

Capacity: 135 (incl. 2 wheelchair spaces) Seating style: Theatre. Potential for balcony and alternative floor set up once seating is retracted. Accessibility: Infrared hearing system to enhance sound for those who are hearing impaired. Two wheelchair spaces, accessible via the ground floor. Seating towards the back of the theatre is also accessible via a lift in the foyer, plus a third wheelchair space if required. N.B. Stage area in the Studio is flat.

Inter@ct Suite

Capacity: 25 theatre style (reduced capacity for boardroom, classroom or alternative seating styles) Seating style: Flexible Accessibility: Lift available from ground floor to first floor. Disabled toilet facilities within the space. Great light, open space ideal for small scale events or for buffets and refreshments when using the Upper Foyer. The Inter@ct Suite has its own accessible toilet and complimentary water machine.

Upper Foyer / Bar
