Our creative professional development programme inspires teachers and classroom leaders to bring culture into the classroom everyday.
Using the power of art and culture we’ve been working with nurseries, schools and colleges to make sure that Hull’s children and young people are making the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity. But what about our teachers, the classroom leaders, the inspirers and motivators? How can we inspire them to unleash creativity, everyday?
We’ve brought the best of Yorkshire’s creative talent to Hull to excite and inspire our teachers. This is creative, professional development – Hull 2017 style.
From digital to dance we’ve created seven sensational workshops led by leading art organisations from across the region. From the concept of Le Jeu – the art of finding pleasure and humour in performance – to creative writing inspired by mud, we want to inspire teachers to bring art and culture into the classroom everyday.
