In order to allow audiences to enjoy our opening events in a safe environment some special transport arrangements and road closures will be in place.
On January 1, East Yorkshire Motor Services and Stagecoach will be operating a special bus service and extra train services will be running from Paragon Interchange. Please see transport operators’ websites or hull2017.co.uk for further details.
The following road closures will also be in place:
A63 / Castle Street will be closed between the Mytongate and Garrison Road roundabouts from 15:30 to 23:00 on January 1 for In With A Bang presented by Arco.
High Street will be closed between the junctions with Liberty Lane and Queens Street from 16:00 to 22:00 from January 1 to January 7.
Carr Lane will be closed from 15:00 to 22:00 from January 1 to January 7. During these times bus routes will be diverted, please see EYMS and Stagecoach websites and Twitter feeds for further details.
Victoria Dock from 16:00 to 21:00 on January 1 Victoria Dock will only be accessible by residents and their visitors.
