Africa Fashion African Week Hull is a multicultural fashion and art exhibition organised by creative minds organisation, a non-profit organisation in Hull that uses creative art like sewing, handmade craft to bring people together and share employ-ability skills. African Week show event will be delivered in partnership Hull Minister Church featuring 12 fashion designers , local artists and 21 models.
This fashion event will bring a dash of African style, colours to the catwalk whilst engaging children and young people with vibrant costumes, dance routines, intriguing poetry and traditional music and song. The aim to give participants an awareness of a lifestyle and culture far removed from everyday UK existence and an appreciation of the benefits of diversity.The event will also be paying homage to William Wilberforce, acknowledging the pivotal role he played in African history and a huge drawing of him by a student from Art and design in Hull college will be displayed at the venue and will be unveiled by Mayor of Hull, who has confirmed attendance.
This a free event but front reserved row seats ticket is £20.
