This colourful tale from the Arabian Nights is set in the Middle East: a place of mystery, enchantment and strange, mythical creatures. Large scale contemporary Shadow Puppet theatre tells of a poor street boy who falls hopelessly in love with a Royal Princess. What magic would he need just to see her again?Follow his wild and dangerous adventures as he gets caught up in excitement way beyond his control.

Their previous work has included 20 shows at the Mother of the Nation Festival in Abu Dhabi, a contribution to Peaky Blinders series 2, performances at the International Schattentheater Festival in Germany as the only UK company, and consultancy work for the band “Take That” in 2015. This current run of shows usually tour and are rarely performed in Hull.
The Hull ScrapStore was set up in 1988 and is run by a small team of staff and dedicated volunteers. Providing scrap materials to members, who work with children and young people, the organisation also facilitates a number of creative art and play workshops in local schools, community groups and at open events.
