This tour is a family friendly tour that takes places in Hull City Centre, using digital technology to show you maps, images, and official files from WWII.
We talk about the sites, the air raids, the tragedies, and the people who worked and lived through the period.
Hear about the top secret bunkers, and how information was passed around under secrecy. See the locations before, during and after the war, and hear the staggering stories behind them.
The tour starts at 7.00 pm at Hull’s Cenotaph on Ferensway, and takes in a circuit route, finishing at Hull Cenotaph at 8.00 pm.
Along the route we will visit several sites and hear the victims names read out in a moment of respect.
The tour is family friendly, and dogs are welcome.
