Critical Fish are hosting an evening at Humber Street Gallery, reflecting and unpicking themes present in the current exhibition programme.
The evening with have a focus on looking/experiencing, exploring/sharing, questions, conversation, and writing.
The Critical Fish is an artist led project which promotes critical but accessible writing about art and visual culture. They support creativity and culture in Hull and the region, but are also outward facing and invite contributions and ideas from further afield, interested in critical, creative, collaborative and experimental writing.
The Critical Fish’s website is a forum for debate, connecting artists, writers, organisations and audiences through cultural conversations.

Venue Details
Humber Street Gallery is a contemporary art space nestled in the heart of the city’s Fruit Market cultural quarter. Housed in a former fruit warehouse, the gallery will showcase the best in contemporary visual arts from the shocking to the sublime. The gallery seeks to generate debate, push boundaries, encourage new ways of thinking and inspire with a packed programme designed to appeal to those both familiar and not so familiar with the arts.
