David Goodhart vs. Lord Bhikhu Parekh: On immigration and Integration.
David Goodhart is Head of the Demography, Immigration, and Integration Unit at Policy Exchange, as well as being Director of the Integration Hub website. He is the author of political bestseller The Road to Somewhere: The Populist Revolt and the Future of Politics (Hurst).
Educated at the Universities of Bombay and London, Lord Parekh is a fellow of both the Royal Society of Arts, and the Academy of the Learned Societies for Social Sciences.
As well as being Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Westminster, he was awarded a UK life peerage in 2000 and the Padma Bhushan by the Indian Government in 2007.
