What’s a Shindig?
Our over 55s party afternoon’s are packed full of fun, sparkle and entertainment, plus a delicious afternoon tea!
Come have a proper festive knees-up with us this Christmas – book your free place, turn up in your glad rags, and we’ll do the rest!
It’s all completely free, you only need to book a place so we know how much tea to brew.
Carers are always welcome, but we do ask them to register to attend.
Doors are from 12:30pm with entertainment from 1pm – 4pm.
There’s a small car park at Edinburgh Street Community Centre with lots of free street parking around the venue.

EDINBURGH STREET COMMUNITY CENTRE,
140 Woodcock Street,
Based on Edinburgh Street in West Hull. The centre is a hub for the community and surrounding area. There are many groups and classes based in the centre with a great friendly atmosphere. The Hessle Road area of Hull has a strong fishing heritage from years ago when Hull was a major port for the fishing industry. The volunteers who help run the centre work tirelessly to ensure that it is open 7 days a week.
