Beatbox Workshops with Testament

Ever wondered how to beatbox? How do beatbox artists vocalise? What inspires them to create rhythms? If so, this is a session not to miss! Testament, world record breaking human beatboxer, is leading this 20-person workshop. There are no age restrictions so come along if you think you’ve got what it takes to experiment with some beats.

As well as a beatboxer, Testament is a Hip-Hop MC, poet and playwright. His work includes the album No Freedom Without Sacrifice, the award-nominated play Black Men Walking and new one-man show WOKE.

RUNNING TIME: 1 hour
LOCATION: Hull Central Library, Albion Street, Hull, HU1 3TF
WARNINGS: 14+ (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult)
