Well – what a coup! We’ve got Tom Wrigglesworth, creator and star of ‘Tom Wrigglesworth’s Hang Ups’ on BBC Radio 4 – all five series of it!.
Partly due to his degree in Electrical Engineering, Tom has also starred in TV programmes about lots of interesting stuff: including‘Electric Dreams’ and ‘Engineering Giants’, BBC – ‘You Have Been Warned’, ‘Dead or Alive’ and ‘Outrageous Acts of Science.
Tom has won numerous awards for his stand-up comedy, with themes of coping with the maddening impact of the policies of corporate organisations on ordinary people, and standing up for the little guy.

Ant Dewson is a comedian and singer of silly songs. He’s a regular performer at the UK’s best comedy clubs including Up The Creek, The Stand, Funhouse Comedy, Top Secret, Angel Comedy, Out of Bounds, The Stand Up Club… to name but a few.
Ant has shared the stage with some of the country’s finest comedians including Michael McIntyre, Micky Flanagan and Lee Mack.
Ant has written comedy for BBC Radio 4, Sky TV, and other areas of the media. He performs on BBC Radio London and other London radio stations.

EAST RIDING THEATRE IS A COMMUNITY THEATRE, BASED IN BEVERLEY. Established in 2014, the venue was created from a former Victorian chapel and it oifers an intimate space for enjoying many types of entertainment, with a 200 seat auditorium and fully licensed Café Bar. The year-round programme of entertainment, includes theatre, music, comedy, spoken word and much more. Regular exhibitions of art are displayed within the Theatre Gallery. It is also a venue that is often used for festivals and other events. OUR VOLUNTEERS ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF OUR THEATRE Without our Volunteers we would not have a theatre. They are passionate about the entertainment programme that we deliver and dedicated in making a contribution to our day-to-day activities throughout all areas of the theatre – whether it be welcoming our audience front-of-house, selling tickets in the box office, serving drink and food in our café bar, helping with maintenance, keeping the theatre clean or one of many other roles!
