It’s time celebrate 50 years of Thin Lizzy and also run through Eric Bell’s remarkable career as one of Ireland’s foremost and finest guitarists.
From showband guitarist at 16 right the way through to now as a solo artist via his years as guitarist with Van Morrison then on to Thin Lizzy, creator of the never to be forgotten, anthemic, guitar lines of Whiskey in The Jar, to being Bo Diddley’s guitar player of choice, to playing and recording with ex Jimi Hendrix bassist Noel Redding and then becoming a solo recording and performing artist.
The 90 minute Anniversary Show will take you through all the twists and turns of his career. From early blues beginnings, to his contributions to Thin Lizzy and then through a formidable solo back catalogue and finally resting on present day, recently finished songs…
