Ferens Fine Art Lecture Series 2019
The University of Hull’s Ferens Fine Art lectures will this year concentrate on the Art of Photography and will be held in connection with the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2018 exhibition, which is currently on display in the gallery within the Brynmor Jones Library until June 2019.

As Curator of Photographs (Content and Interpretation) Sabina curates the annual Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize and develops photography displays. She received an AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Award in 2010, completing a PhD in post-war Polish photography, jointly supervised by the University of Essex and Tate. Before being appointed Associate Curator of Photographs at the National Portrait Gallery in 2016, Sabina lectured on the history and theory of photography.
Venue Details
The versatile venue is used for classical music concerts, and with adaptable acoustics, it is also used as a surround-sound cinema and theatre space.
