Strip and dip charred Calçot into Romesco sauce, drink cava from a height and dive into a large amount of grilled meats and seasonal vegetables alongside some great wines!
A Calçot is a cross between a leek and a spring onion in season between January and March in Catalonia and they’ll be kicking off the evening’s festivities! We grill them on our Josper Barbecue oven until they’re charred and wrap them in newspaper to steam. Then it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in… Peel off the charred outer layer using your fingers, dip the Calçot in Romesco sauce, tip your head back and lower it into your mouth to enjoy.

The youngest of Ambiente's four sites, they opened their Hull restaurant in 2016 on Humber Street, one of Hull’s favourite streets full of independent businesses so they certainly feel right at home! Whilst the exterior of the restaurant retains a touch of the building’s past, the interior has been transformed into a contemporary, vibrant and upbeat space with a host of knowledgeable staff ready to welcome you with open arms. Inside you’ll find an open plan dining area, featuring booths, banquets and tables as well as a bar area. For those summer days, the outdoor seating area overlooking the marina will whisk you away to the Mediterranean.
