It has been over 5 years since Hull last had a Freedom of The City Parade and as the current Lord Mayor is a serving sergeant reservist in the 4th Battalion The Royal Yorkshire Regiment based in Hull it is very fitting to have this event take place.
The parade will be led by The Band of Royal Yorkshire Regiment and participants for the village will have 4th Battalion The Royal Yorkshire Regiment, 150 Regiment Royal Logistics Corps, Humberside & South Yorkshire Army Cadets, Defence School of Transport.
10:30am – 3pm Military Village – Queen Victoria Square will have military vehicles and displays for the public and children to enjoy.
11:20am The parade will leave Hull Minster – the route will take in Queen Victoria Square & Paragon Street
