Hull Chamber Music welcomes back the NLCE, following their sell-out performance in 2017, with this riveting theatrical take on chamber music – a majestic procession to Byrd’s Pavane & Galliard, a thrilling staged performance of Berio’s Opus No Zoo which takes the performers around the stage and beyond and a unique performance of Rimsky-Korsakov’s famous Flight of the Bumble Bee.
Along the way are Nielson’s fine Quintet and Barber’s beautiful Summer Music as well as a work by Moondog – the twentieth century American composer, musician, poet and inventor of several new instruments.
HCM’s AGM will take place at 6pm. All members of HCM are welcome to attend.
