As part of Freedom Sessions 2023, Social are excited to announce Hack-Poets Guild coming to Hull in March at Humber Street.
Marry Waterson, Lisa Knapp and Nathaniel Mann lead a five-piece band offering a rare insight into Britain’s history inspired by historic broadside ballads – daily song sheets sold for pence from the 16th to 20th centuries – the artists rejuvenate and reinvent these stories.
