Some say the history of the City of Hull is written on the walls of Hull Minster. With links to famous fathers of Hull’s industrial and maritime merchant heritage, the Minster has played its part in local and national events. From the Charter of 1299 given by Edward I to form the city of Kingston upon Hull to the events that kick started the English Revolution, Hull Minster has witnessed it all. These stories are retold by our tour guides as you walk through the Minster and the history of Hull.
During your tour you will be introduced to Hull’s famous fathers, who have had far reaching influences in the world today.
Tours take 1 hour. There are seated viewing spots along the way and visitors will have a chance to ask questions and take photos along the way.
