Holy Moly & The Crackers make riotous party music for the masses.
Their third album, ‘Take A Bite’ demonstrates the band’s take on folk, blues and indie rock. Led by the euphoric lead single, ‘All I Got Is You’ (championed by Spotify and Radio X) it combines pop songcraft with stomping, four to the floor backing, demonstrating the sextet’s ability to tackle personal lyrical fare, deftly led by vocalist Ruth Patterson. Further adorning their naturally expressive take on British folk, rock’n’soul, and sharp indie-rock, are their balladeering and psychedelic trips towards the Middle East.
Their single, the barnstorming indie-rock anthem ‘Cold Comfort Lane’, was used as the credit title track for the blockbuster movie Oceans 8.
Come along for the ride – the craziest party in town always has room for one more… an ideal way to end a perfect winter festival weekend!
