Hull Noir and Hull Libraries present…

The Dark Wives’ by Ann Cleeves

Wed 18 September / 7pm / In person at Hull Central Library and livestreamed to an online audience.

When a body is found at a care home for troubled teens, DI Vera Stanhope is called out to investigate. Vera can’t bring herself to believe that a teenager is responsible for the murder, but even she can’t dismiss the possibility. When a second body is found, folklore and fact begin to collide and it seems dark secrets in their community may be far more dangerous than she could ever have believed.

Ann Cleeves talks about her new crime novel with writer and Hull Noir co-founder, Nick Quantrill.
