Hull Noir and Hull Libraries present…
’Other Women’ by Emma Flint
Wed 16 October / 7pm / In person at Hull Central Library and livestreamed to an online audience.
London, 1923, and like so many single women after the Great War, Beatrice Cade is trying to rebuild a life for herself. When charismatic visiting salesman Tom Ryan directs his attention at her, Beatrice falls hard for him. But he’s married with a child, and his wife, Kate, has worked to create a seemingly happy domestic life. When Beatrice is found dead and Tom is in the frame for her murder, it looks like Kate will do anything to protect her family.
Emma Flint talks about her new crime novel with writer and Hull Noir co-founder, Nick Triplow.
