Over 5 days Canon Ian Holdsworth will guide you through the process of creating an icon using traditional methods and materials.
The dates are below:
- Thursday, 22 September 1:00pm – 3:00pm
- Friday, 23 September 1:00pm – 3:00pm
- Wednesday, 28 September 1:00 – 3:00pm
- Thursday, 29 September 1:00 – 3:00pm
- Friday, 30 September 1:00pm – 3:00pm
No experience is necessary.
All materials including brushes, wooden board, paint and gold will be provided. Choose either the Lux Mundi or St Michael the Archangel to recreate and take home at the end of the workshop.
Each day begins with prayer at 10.00am and finishes at 4.00pm
Lunch can be booked each day at the Minster cafe.
