Vocalist Kate Peters leads her superb 18-piece big band in a tribute to one of the jazz world’s most loved female voices.
First formed in 2017 to celebrate the centenary of Ella’s birth, the band performs classic arrangements from across her career, recorded with the likes of Nelson Riddle, George Gershwin, Count Basie and Chick Webb.
If you love Ella’s songbook then we guarantee you’ll love this show.
“I loved it… It’s a thrill to see a Big Band. She’s got a perfect jazz voice. She mentions Ella, but she sounds like herself “ Martha Reeves
