Hip words and cool jazz celebrate the centenary of the birth of Angel Headed Hipster, Jack Kerouac. A homage to the author of the classic novel, On The Road, featuring the words and music that reflect Jack Kerouac’s inner life and world through the eyes of Neal Cassady, Carolyn Cassady, LuAnne Henderson, Allen Ginsberg, Memere (Kerouac’s mother) and Kerouac himself.
The Beat Generation were frowned upon by the Establishment and ridiculed by their contemporaries, however they were the inspiration for the likes of Bob Dylan, Morrissey and The Beatles.
