On a hot night in August 1991, a week after having graced the main stage at the Reading Festival for the first time Kingmaker played to a rammed, over-capacity crowd at their spiritual home, the Adelphi.

The Adelphi released a limited-edition print of the poster from that night in celebration of Kingmaker’s long history with the club.
A few weeks after the show Kingmaker’s debut album – Eat Yourself Whole – would be released.

Thirty years later, almost to the day, Kingmaker 4AD will be back at the Adelphi playing all the tracks from Eat Yourself Whole in full, plus a few extras!
