Join us for a lively evening of music and celebration at Burton Constable, as The Friends of Burton Constable proudly present the Last Night of the Proms!
Prepare for an uplifting experience as we welcome the renowned Driffield Silver Band, one of Yorkshire’s finest traditional brass bands. They’ll deliver a spirited Proms programme brimming with all your cherished favourites, including the Land of Hope and Glory, the majestic Jerusalem, and the iconic Rule Britannia!
This immensely popular annual event is your chance to immerse yourself in the classic British tradition. Bring your flags, a picnic to enjoy during the performance, and don’t forget suitable seating to keep comfortable throughout the evening. A fully licensed bar will also be available throughout the event.

The Friends of Burton Constable organise a number of events throughout the year to raise money to support the preservation of Burton Constable Hall for the long-term benefit of the public. Funds generated by the Friends are invested in the conservation of the Hall and parkland, helping sustain and preserve them for future generations.

Burton Constable Hall, one of England's most captivating country estates, has been the home of the Constable family for over 700 years. Step inside the Elizabethan gem and explore 30 grand rooms filled with fine art, exquisite furniture and decorative treasures, including the remarkable Cabinet of Curiosities. For a deeper dive into history, join a behind-the-scenes tour of the servants' quarter, where you’ll uncover the life of those who once worked here. Stroll through the stunning parkland designed by 'Capability' Brown, with its tranquil woodland trails and serene lakeside walks. Don't miss the historic stables, which includes Billy the stable boy’s bedroom and the astonishing 60-foot skeleton of a sperm whale, a fascinating link to Moby-Dick!
