Join us on the second Sunday of each month for an illustrated talk by award-winning local historian Paul Schofield.
Paul Schofield has been guiding visitors and residents alike on tours through Hull’s colourful history since 1988. He has been awarded Hull City Council’s “Tourism Enterprise Award” and “Extra Mile” certificate, and a Real Yorkshire Tourism Awards ambassadorship.
Talks are held upstairs in our function room and take advantage of a 100-inch screen which is easily viewable from anywhere in the room. They generally last between 60 & 90 minutes, with a break midway and time for Q&As after. Among Paul’s trademarks are lots of references to local pubs (past and present), and, usually, a reference to his beloved Hull Kingston Rovers! Paul’s genial and cheery demeanour bring warmth and humour to a wealth of knowledge.
Tickets are available with or without a special offer on food, which includes a special Sunday dinner offer.
