Palais de Mari (1986) by Morton Feldman
Palais de Mari is the last work for solo piano by North American composer Morton Feldman (1926–1987).
Despite being one of the shorter pieces among his later compositions, Feldman suspends time through the shifting and layering of small motifs and resonances, all of which combine to create a delicate and deeply moving work.
The recital will include an introduction to the work by Simon-Mary.
